About the Artist...

    Tim Petrinec is an artist from Eden, NY, a small farm town outside Buffalo, NY.  He now lives in Charlotte, NC, where he paints, draws and illustrates professionally.

    He was recently selected as one of the 12 artists to compete for $100,000 on an upcoming reality tv series.

    His artwork is grouped into 3 main categories:

    - Music Based Art - This is his Rock and Roll art series.  Each of these works of art are inspired by certain songs and musicians.  The paintings and drawings range in style and medium.  Each painting and drawing is Tim's visual representation of the music that inspires him.  The music that inspires Tim's art tends to be rock and roll, from musicians like Robert Johnson, to other greats like Jimmy Hendrix, Led Zeppelin and the Rolling Stones.    

    - Surreal Art - These are paintings straight from his brain.  Tim wants each of these paintings to give the viewer the opportunity to wander around the painting.

    - Interesting People - These are drawings and paintings of interesting people.  Many of these paintings  and drawings are very detailed in nature.  The goal is to capture the essence and emotion of a person and moment.
